To monitor fetal growth and assess for growth restriction or macrosomia.
Fetal position
Head-down (cephalic), breech, or transverse; important for delivery planning.
Placental maturity and position
Check for placenta previa or signs of aging (grading of placental calcification).
Amniotic fluid volume
Assess for polyhydramnios (too much fluid) or oligohydramnios (too little fluid).
Umbilical cord
Check cord insertion, position, and presence of nuchal cord (cord around the neck).
Fetal movement
A general indicator of fetal well-being.
Ovarian check
Evaluation of ovaries for cysts, masses, or any abnormalities.
