In this serene setting, Sone Zoen, a landscape company specializing in the design and maintenance of Zen temple gardens in Kyoto, operates Hōgā-an—a facility where guests can experience samon-hiki, the traditional practice of drawing patterns in karesansui (dry landscape) gardens.
Be captivated by the beauty of the garden and immerse yourself in the spirit of Zen through this meditative experience, often described as “walking zazen.”
The residence is also available as a private whole-house rental, suitable for exhibitions, workshops, corporate retreats, and more.
