一階の主役は“もの”です。
どこかの誰かに使われていたもの。外に置かれたまま忘れられていたもの。自然との出来事が刻まれたもの。そういったもののストーリーを想像して面白がったり、価値を見つめ直したり、あるいはお茶を飲みながらただ時間を過ごすための場所です。
 
二階の主役は“ひと”です。
古くより東洋に伝わる手技、植物由来のアロマセラピー。それら自然療法を通して、日々の生活の中で気づかないうちに緊張した心体を休ませていく。セラピストとの会話で和んだり、お気に入りの香りを見つけたり。心と身体に無理なく、自分を整えるための休息場所です。
 
“もの”や“ひと”が齢を重ねていくことのなかに美しさを見て、それを肯定する。
kokyuが提案したいのは、そのようなことです。

kokyu kyoto is both a gallery and a space for relaxation.
On the first floor, the focus is on things—objects once used by someone, forgotten items weathered by time, and pieces that carry stories from nature. A place to imagine, reflect, or simply enjoy tea in stillness.
On the second floor, the focus is on people. Through traditional Eastern techniques and plant-based therapies, we help ease the tensions of everyday life. It is a place to rest, find your favorite scent, and quietly return to yourself.
We see beauty in the way people and things age—and we choose to honor that.

・妊娠初期（12週未満）および臨月に近い時期は、お体が特に不安定なため、施術をご遠慮いただいております。

・体調がすぐれない場合や不安がある場合は、ご利用をお控えください。 

・妊娠中・月経中の体調には個人差があるため、最終的にはお客様ご自身のご判断のもとでご予約をお願いいたします。ご心配な方は担当医の方にご相談ください。

・ご予約の際に、担当セラピストへ伝えたい内容がございましたら予約の備考欄に事前にご記入ください。

例：香ものは使用しないでください。/ 冷たいものは控えています。/〇〇の箇所は触らないでください。など

At kokyu spa, we welcome guests who are pregnant or menstruating. However, for your safety and comfort, we kindly ask you to take note of the following:

The treatment involves lying on your back for approximately two hours. If you feel any discomfort or strain, please listen to your body and decide whether the treatment is suitable for you.

We kindly ask that guests in the early stages of pregnancy (under 12 weeks) or approaching their due date refrain from receiving treatment, as the body is especially sensitive during these times.

If you are feeling unwell or have any concerns about your condition, please postpone your visit.

Since physical conditions during pregnancy and menstruation vary from person to person, we ask that you make your booking based on your own judgment. If you are unsure, please consult your physician beforehand.

If there is anything you would like to inform your therapist in advance, please write it in the notes section when making your reservation.

Please avoid touching certain areas of my body.
