This kayaking tour is designed for beginners. The location is very calm, flat water, making it ideal for a first try. We accommodate participants' skill levels and requests, so you can also try slightly more challenging currents.

From experienced guides to basic paddling techniques and how to use each piece of equipment, you'll get a very authentic experience.

So even complete beginners can join this session with confidence.

We will provide you with all kayaking equipment and clothing. Participants should bring their own swimsuits and drinks.

This session is designed for beginners and above, those who have previously taken basic kayaking lessons at a kayaking school, or those looking to learn more challenging techniques.

Our experienced guides will carefully teach you everything from the basics to essential techniques. While this lesson will be conducted in gentle currents, capsizing is still possible, so please be aware of this risk.

The perfect introduction to white water in Iya Valley, this is the ideal place to improve your basic white water technique in preparation for greater challenges. Depending on the season, this is often where we take beginners and intermediates who want to start their stay in Iya Valley on the right foot, regaining confidence and working step-by-step to strengthen and improve technique.

This is a beautiful section immersed in nature, easy and fun where we could do plenty of things: breaking in and out of eddies, ferry gliding, holding a line, changing direction in the flow and developing strategies for descending white water rapids—no matter what you want to work on, this is the perfect section.

Koboke Gorge on the Yoshino River is one of the most amazing places in the gorge. Even in summer, when the water level is low, the gorge is runnable and you can enjoy rafting, hydrospeed and of course kayaking.

In addition to the beauty of the scenery, the gorge is also suitable for instruction and kayaking technical courses. There are pools after each rapid and some passages are very technical but not dangerous.

An instructor will accompany you through these narrow and clear gorges and help you improve your kayaking skills. Water compressed between rock walls moves differently. We will teach you how to read the current and navigate it effectively and gracefully.

Mount Kunimi (1,409m above sea level) is a majestic mountain sandwiched between the Iya Valley and the Oboke Gorge.



The view is almost 360 degrees. The panoramic view of the Shikoku Mountain Range, from the Tsurugi Mountains to the Ishizuchi Mountains, is the true essence of Mount Kunimi! The best time to climb is from early April to late November. November is especially spectacular.



This course is a half-day tour to hike Mount Kunimi with a guide. It takes about 50 minutes to reach the summit. From there, you can enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery in all directions. On the way down, you will walk to the parking lot along a different route. We will also unravel the various history and culture that we possess.
