【金継ぎ（きんつぎ）とは？】
壊れた陶磁器を修復する室町時代からの日独自の技法で、割れたり欠けたりした器を漆（うるし）で繋ぎ、継ぎ目を金や銀などの粉を蒔いて装飾する伝統技術です。
ワークショップでは、ウルシの木から採れる漆は使用せずかぶれにくく乾く時間の早い合成うるし（塗料）と金粉（真鍮とパールの粉のブレンド）を使用して作るので、はじめての方も安心してご参加いただけます。
What is Kintsugi?
Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese technique dating back to the Muromachi period for repairing broken ceramics. It involves reconnecting broken or chipped pieces with lacquer and decorating the seams with powdered gold or silver.
For this workshop, we use a synthetic lacquer (paint) that is less likely to cause allergic reactions and dries quickly, along with blended gold powder (brass and pearl powder), making it safe and easy for beginners to participate.
【ワークショップ内容】
伝統的な日本のやきものの陶片と色鮮やかな天然石を自由に組み合わせて作る金継ぎのSDGsアクセサリー作り体験です。
主に全国各地の窯元から買い取った、割れたり欠けたりしたもう使われない器やカップなどのやきものをこちらで一つ一つ手作業で陶片にして研磨したものをご用意します。
色柄形がそれぞれ異なる唯一無二のアクセサリーパーツとしてお好きなものを選んでいただき、カラフルな天然石やシェルと組み合わせて「世界にひとつだけの金継ぎジュエリー」をつくりましょう！
Workshop Content
Experience creating sustainable Kintsugi-inspired accessories by combining fragments of traditional Japanese ceramics with vibrant natural stones.
We provide hand-crafted and polished ceramic fragments sourced from kilns across Japan. These fragments are made from previously broken or chipped pottery, such as bowls and cups, that are no longer in use.
Each piece is unique, with different patterns, colors, and shapes. Select your favorite ceramic fragments and combine them with colorful natural stones and shells to create your one-of-a-kind Kintsugi jewelry.

💎使用資材：京焼・清水焼、有田焼、シー陶器、月毎に変わるやきもの ＋ 天然石、ステンドグラス、ガラスビーズ、シェル
💎作れるもの：ピアス（左右ペアで１点とカウントします）、イヤリング（左右ペア）、ブローチ、指輪、ペンダントトップ、帯留、ポニーフック、ヘアゴム、タックピン、タイピン、カフスリンクス
（上記の中から当日お好きなものを２点制作できます。ピアス２ペアでもOKです。）

京阪「龍谷大前深草駅」又はJR「稲荷駅」よりいずれも徒歩5分

＊アトリエには駐車場はございません。（アトリエの前の道は大変細い路地になっており、車は侵入できません。）

💎価格：参加人数により料金が異なります。
こちらの金額には基本料金の2点制作分の資材が含まれます。
時間内に制作が可能な場合は、3点目以降、1,650点で追加制作が可能です。
ご予約画面で表示される金額は1名様での料金が表示されていますが、人数により金額が変わりますので
表示金額は無視してください。

💎申し込み方法：代表者1名のみ、合計の参加人数を記載の上お申し込みください。お申し込み後、こちらからの返信をもって予約確定となります。返信はお申し込み手続き完了から24時間以内にメールにて差し上げます。24時間経っても返信がない場合はお手数ですが、お知らせください。
💎持ち物：特になし（汚れても良い服装でお越しください）

※キャンセルは前日夜までに済ませてください。当日時間までに間に合わない場合は事前にご連絡ください。
Workshop Details
💎 Date & Time: Please check the calendar. Each session lasts 2.5 to 3 hours.
Reservations close at 10:00 PM two days prior to the workshop date (e.g., for a session at 2:00 PM on March 3, reservations close at 10:00 PM on March 1).
💎 What you can make:
earrings (pair), clip-on earrings (pair), brooch, ring, pendant top, obi clip, ponytail hook, hair tie, tack pin, tie pin, cufflinks
(You can make any two items you like from the list above. Making two pairs of earrings is also OK!)
💎 Materials:
Kyoto Ware/Kiyomizu Ware, Arita Ware, Sea Ceramics, and monthly variations of Japanese pottery
Natural stones, stained glass, glass beads, shells
💎 Location:
Engrace Atelier, Fushimi Inari, Kyoto

5-minute walk from Keihan "Ryukoku Daimae-Fukakusa Station" or JR "Inari Station"
Detailed directions will be sent to first-time participants with confirmed reservations by the day before the workshop.
Note: There is no parking available at the atelier. The street in front of the atelier is a narrow alley unsuitable for vehicles.

The listed price includes materials for creating two pieces. If time permits, additional pieces can be created for ¥1,650 per item.
The price displayed during booking reflects the cost for one participant. However, the total cost will vary based on the number of participants, as shown below:

💎 How to Apply:
Only one representative needs to apply and provide the total number of participants. Reservations are confirmed once you receive a reply from us within 24 hours of completing your application. If you do not receive a reply within 24 hours, please contact us.
💎 What to Bring:
Nothing special is required. Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty.
Payment is made directly to the instructor on the day of the workshop (cash, PayPay, Rakuten Pay, or credit card accepted).
Cancellations must be made by the evening of the previous day. If you cannot make it in time, please notify us in advance.
