I had an absolutely amazing time getting my hair cut by Miwa. It had been awhile since I got my last haircut and he did a great job. I especially appreciated his attention to detail. He was also funny, nice, and able to speak English with me. I strongly recommend Miwa!

We were visiting Kyoto and booked an appointment with Miwa-San for Japanese straight perm and haircut for my daughter. She has been wanting a straight perm for awhile and is sooo happy with the results! Her hair was quite damaged from daily hair ironing and Miwa-San gave her a hair treatment to repair some of the damage. He also trimmed the damaged ends and now her hair looks shiny and healthier! We also purchased amazing Japanese hair products at his shop to maintain her hair. Miwa-San is friendly and kind, and his salon has a nice aesthetic. I highly recommend Dress Hair Salon in Kyoto. He also has a location in Tokyo.

I was specifically looking for someone who did digital perms and Miwa was wonderful. I booked in advance from the US and it was so easy to schedule online. I arrived and got my treatments done. He showed me how I can style my new hair and even made me coffee!

Miwa listened carefully to all my needs and gave my hair a much needed trim - i'm pretty happy with my haircut. Miwa is super friendly and speaks great English. I will definitely visit again if I'm in Kyoto and need another haircut 👍.
