Ikebana Studio - Atelier SOKA is hosting Ikebana Experience ( Japanese flower arrangement) for tourists in English and  we also  have regular classes at Roppongi Studio.

Ikebana is not just a flower arrangement but an art. Looking forward to seeing you at our studios in Tokyo. All lessons are conducted in English.

Mika Otani who leads Atelier SOKA  is an active Ikebana artist . She is making a powerful huge arrangement in movie studios, events, restaurants, and fashion show.
A certified Ikebana master, 1st grade professor (RIJI in Japanese), authorized by Sogetsu School of Ikebana, one of the top Ikebana schools in Japan.

We were very happy to have beautiful guests from Beijin and Shanghai who visited Japan for the first time in their life!  They are very interested in 2 sides of Japan that has a very new and modern world and simultaneously keeps a very traditional and old culture including Ikebana culture.  They love flowers so much, that's why  they have choosen our IKEBANA experience as their 1st touch to know Japanese old culture even though there are a lot of variety of activity tours in Tokyo.  We feel grateful that we got a precious opprutynity to be the first guide to show them our beautiful culutural world. This day was their last day in Japan. We hope we could cap their beautiful stay in Japan with our Ikebana momoravilia. FYI, today's our Japanese sweet on this day was YOMOGI rice cake with mugwort ( Japanese seasonal herbs) and that is a very spring confection in Japan. We appreciate the sprouting leaves with the green color of that rice cake and we favor the flegrance of YOMOGI (mugwort).
