みなさんこんにちは。

11月になり鹿児島も寒くなりましたね。

子供にコートを買ってもすぐに大きくなってしまうので、洋服選びは難しいですよね。



と言うことで、ラジャでガレージセールをすることにしました。

、、、ガレージセールってご存知ですか？

アメリカ🇺🇸で週末や引越しの前に、自分のガレージでやるフリーマーケットです。

１シーズンしか使っていない子供のダウンやコートなどの古着、英語の本、おもちゃが今回の目玉商品です！！



相場はだいたい100円から3000円くらいです。

Garage Sale @RaJA

Do you get the sense that we jumped straight from Summer to winter this year? Are you and your children ready for the cold?

Finding clothes that suit the weather can be diffcult, especially when the weather is so unpredictable, and children grow out of clothes so quickly. I have two small children and, even though they have a lot of summer and winter clothes, they don't fit at the right time of year. This is one of the reasons I decided to hold a Garage Sale at RaJA International Preschool this month.

Have you ever heard of or been to a Garage Sale?

You can think of it as a flea market held in your garage or front yard (yard sale). Usually, you hold a garage sale right before moving to a new home. I'm going to try to replicate the Garage Sale experience at RaJA on November 28th.

Items for sale include: Children's used clothes (from the U.S.A.), jackets, and coats (gently used), English books, and toys, and even some women's and men's clothes.

Prices range from ¥100 to ¥3,000 depending on the item.

The money raised from this event will contribute to my yoga studies and certification, and to buying equipment to improve the quality of online lessons (YouTube Live lessons).

I appreciate your support and you can rest assured that I will be back with new and improved yoga lessons this December.

家具、子供の古着(from USA)、レディーズ・メンズ洋服、本、絵画、アクセサリーなどを売っています。

相場はだいたい100円から3000円くらいです。(定価は1000円〜10万円くらい) 絵画をなかなか買う機会が無いと思いますが、アメリカの家には何個もアート作品を置く文化があります。これを機会にトイレにでもいかがですか？

In my experience, Yard Sales are held in areas of the US where recycle shops are few and far between. They're kind of like a private flea market held in your own front yard (or garage) on a weekend.

Items for sale include: furniture, children's used clothes (from the U.S.A.), women's and men's used clothes, books, paintings, accessories, and more.

Prices range from ¥100 to ¥3,000 depending on the item. (You might not typically go out to buy a piece of artwork for your home, but maybe this is your chance to find a piece you like. A lot of American households feature artwork on the walls. Why not take this opportunity to buy a piece of art to put on your bathroom wall?)
